I really like your idea of being transformative and as a teacher you are uniquely suited to changing the viewpoints of the future generation. That's powerful
But as an investor there is always going to be the question: What return am I getting on my money. Numbers will always drive the conversation.
With teaching and children my thoughts would go towards advertising. Excellence in writing sponsored by... Where a company makes money by increased business from parents and children remembering who helped them get where they are :)
Of course having the right sponsor is crucial. Sponsored by a gas station, beer brand or similar would be disasterous. Sponsored by a private school, advanced arts of science facility, etc would be a much better fit :)
Regardless, good luck in your endeavors. I just thought the "where does the return come from" was somewhat missing in the article.
Oh yes, I get it! No investor would want to commit to investing without returns. I believe there would be (I didn't include that, though). As many children keep coming, of course, that will drive numbers, too because I wouldn’t even be making things free but to be a win-win for everyone.
Win for everybody is the key term :)
The children need to win, the educator needs to win, and the sponsor needs to win .... I suppose the community needs to win too :)
If you can link that all together you have an awesome pitch :)
