We in the cave/tent living community in the rocky semi-desert on Tenerife regularly do recycling.

You can get foods, drinks, and other things too by recycling.

For example a few months ago I found working box packaged wall clocks in the bin (trash).

Yesterday we found multiple bottles of milk.

And a few days ago bakery products too.

This latter is very common and usual.

The stores dropping (throwing away) the no longer sellable, but still edible foods, and we collect them.
