Buenas tardes Paloma, me ha puesto el vello de punta el recorrido que nos has has ofrecido. Recuerdo que El romancero gitano era una lectura obligatoria en el bachillerato pero fue Poeta en Nueva York la obra que me cautivó. Después, o al mismo tiempo, el Omega de Enrique Morente con su visión tan particular y tan punk de Lorca (Poeta en Nueva York) me abrió a Lorca de forma definitiva. O, quizás diría, al mundo de Lorca... no sólo a su obra literario, también a ese maravilloso proyecto que fue La Barraca, sólo hay que ver el vestuario, la escenografía tan mágica y vanguardista, la llegada del teatro a los pueblos de España... el flamenco, ese difunto que no termina de expirar... y siempre como Don Quijote, con las y los más vulnerables.
Repasando las imágenes... y como no soy del género optimista... sólo puedo pensar que estoy antte la España que pudo ser y nunca fue.
Te agradezco mucho el video de La Barraca, no recuerdo haber visto nada antes de tanta calidad y sobre El Ministero del Tiempo.. lo tengo pendiente.

Good afternoon Paloma, the tour you have offered us has made my hair stand on end. I remember that The Romantic Gypsy was required reading in high school, but Poet in New York was the work that captivated me. Later, or at the same time, Enrique Morente's Omega with its very particular and punk vision of Lorca (Poet in New York) opened me to Lorca definitively. Or, perhaps I would say, to the world of Lorca... not only to his literary work, but also to that wonderful project that was La Barraca, you just have to see the costumes, the magical and avant-garde set design, the arrival of theater to the towns of Spain... flamenco, that deceased that never ends... and always like Don Quixote, with the most vulnerable.
Reviewing the images... and since I am not of the optimistic genre... I can only think that I am looking at the Spain that could have been and never was.
I thank you very much for the video of La Barraca, I don't remember having seen anything of such quality before and about El Ministero del Tiempo... I have it pending.

Yo me quedé con el romancero, si recuerdo bien nos lo mandaron en 2ºBUP.
El vídeo de La Barraca es maravilloso, es un buen reportaje y permite ver todo el proceso que seguían. Cientos de personas tuvieron gracias a ellos su único contacto con el teatro.
Pienso lo mismo. Desde entonces no ha vuelto a surgir ningún movimiento cultural de esa importancia. Pero conservemos la esperanza de que algo nuevo resurgirá en algún momento…
El vídeo del Ministerio del Tiempo es genial, como el resto de esa serie, de las mejores españolas de los últimos tiempos.

I stayed with the romance, if I remember correctly they sent it to us in 2ºBUP.
The video of La Barraca is wonderful, it is a good report and allows you to see the whole process they followed. Hundreds of people had their only contact with the theatre thanks to them.
I think the same. Since then, no cultural movement of that importance has emerged again. But let's keep the hope that something new will resurface at some point...
The video of the Ministry of Time is great, like the rest of that series, of the best Spaniards of recent times.

Buenas noches Paloma, me queda ver el capítulo del Ministerio... y, lo evidente es evidente, no ha habido una ninguna generación pesterior que haya brillado a su altura... Me gustaría ser testigo de esa nueva generación de artistas y pensadores que anuncias (o que esperas que en algún momenro surja)... aunque lo dudo bastante, empezando por los actuales planes de estudio...
No me voy aponer agrío... 😊 minetras llega lo nuevo disfrutaremos de lo viejo.
