They say that when changes start bothering you, you become an old man? 😉
I accept some changes, but the "beautification" and "modernization" of cities, streets, squares, removal of old pre-war buildings (those from the beginning of the 20th century) in order to build some skyscrapers, concreting grass areas and turning parks into parking lots, I just hate it!
Well, let them tell me a hundred times that I'm an old man!
A large city, which has the largest number of inhabitants, as well as a popular tourist destination, is the most endangered category.
Welcome to the Grumpy World, my grumpy friend... 😂
It's ridiculous what happens to some great cities... When I remember back of Lisbon, it's a perfect example... Instead of having a great preserved old city center, they put all the famous shops in it... And that's just one example... it happens in every big historic city, in every country...
Speaking of which, it was ridiculous to see a Starbucks INSIDE the biggest castle in Europe (or it's in the world too), in Prague... Like... C'mon!
