I find what you describe about the boyfriend's and father's reactions incredibly powerful... how frustrated and lonely the protagonist must feel! Wow, you put yourself in her shoes, and it must be terrible. It's so great that books like this exist, ones that give voice to real problems and, on top of that, serve to educate. I can tell you loved it. I'll keep it in my memory now! Thanks for introducing me to this gem.
