I very much agree with you, on social I show my vision of the world, I talk about hacking, I show the hacks I have done and my way of thinking about politicians and the way wealth is distributed in the world. In principle it is not information that any company is very happy to see, and I am not very happy to share either, but I have no problem with being looked at, my problem is being segregated for what I do or the opportunities to be benefited by those companies or programs are taken away from me because of the practices or ideas I have.
It is a double-edged sword, so as a hacktivist, my position is that clearly social networks should not be shared with companies, it is a terrible idea from any point of view.
Great points, that's exactly how I think and feel, sometimes I have something I follow, an idea, a way of seeing the world and that doesn't harm my performance within the company, the only thing that can be considered bad is that the owner of the company as a person doesn't agree with what I think and so there is some retaliation. So I don't think we should share our networks with the company we're going to work for.
