Interesting. I think earning 94 $GODS to break even the Shiny tier was really easy, especially for someone who was able to complete everything early. Although random, the packs generate quite a few shiny cards, which by themselves can cover the difference.
Someone with bad luck getting the 3 cheapest Shadow Legendaries from the Shiny pack, plus the Promo card, can sell everything now for 45 $GODS. Those 4 cards alone represent half the difference. The Shiny tier generated over 200 cards, plus anything extra from the Sealed runs. Lowballing all 200 cards at 0.40 $GODS (5 cents) = 80 $GODS, and you'd get a lot of cards worth a lot more than 0.40 $GODS!...
So that's 45 + 80 - 94 = 31 $GODS profit in an unrealistic absolute worst possible scenario.
One other thing to keep in mind is that holding and waiting to sell FA cards later when the meta stabilizes and people remove cards from the marketplace to shine up their decks could generate 10x returns or more in just a few weeks or months.
I do agree though that for someone coming from a cautious perspective during the pre-order period, the Premium tier was the safest option, although it was already clear the Shiny tier would yield the biggest returns, just by the sheer number of cards it would deliver.
interesting your analysis. However, the luck factor in the packs can play against you. Thanks for your input my friend
