RE: Discovering The Unseen Beauty In The Miyun City

I have also found an exploration tower in the park area, which is quite high, but the access was locked; otherwise, I could explore the whole city area from the top of the beautiful tower. Initially, I thought that this would be an old temple, but later I found that it is just an exploration tower, and it has a great decorative color, as you can see. Also, the corners of the roofs are decorated with different animals as the Chinese people believe these animals are their protectors of the house.

Dear @tanzil2024 !
Hassan!
The corners of the roofs you saw were decorated with different animals, were they 12?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Earthly_Branches

The Earthly Branches (also called the Terrestrial Branches or the 12-cycle[1]) are a system of twelve ordered symbols used throughout East Asia. They are indigenous to China, and are themselves Chinese characters, corresponding to words with no concrete meaning other than the associated branch's ordinal position in the list. Cultural applications of the Branches include a dating system known as the sexagenary cycle, as well as astrology. They are associated with the ten Heavenly Stems in Chinese calendars, and in Taoist practice.

Since ancient times, the Chinese have symbolized the Earthly Branches (also called the Terrestrial Branches or the 12-cycle[1]) with 12 animals.

I can't count from the ground, may be there are 12 or less than a few. And they are like animals not like branches. Thanks for your informative comment.
