Jetzt scheint Ecency ja wieder zu funktionieren. Das ging den ganzen Mai so: da wollt ich ein Like setzen, manchmal ging es gut, manchmal kam eine Fehlermeldung. Dasselbe mit Posts und Kommentaren. Gut, dass @lxsxl das angesprochen hat! Ich hatte mich schon gefragt, ob der Fehler bei meinem Computer liegt. Da werde ich gleich schauen, ob 3Speak wieder funktioniert.

Aber jetzt: um Eure guten Beiträge ordentlich würdigen zu können, ist natürlich Hive Power nötig. Im letzten Monat kam ja bei den vielen Fehlfunktionen nicht viel zusammen. Immerhin: über 53 HP.

Was seit einiger Zeit ja mein Thema ist: die CD Produktion unserer Gruppe „LiLA y Geckos“. Dass Du den Entstehungsprozess miterleben kannst. Wir improvisieren ja seit Jahren live über Flamenco Rhythmen, haben da auch viele schöne Auftritte gespielt.

Aber eine CD Produktion ist da ganz etwas Anderes. Da hast Du Möglichkeiten, den Aufbau zu gestalten. Nicht nur, wie auf der Bühne: Rhythmusgitarre, bei der Improvisation spielen sich Solo Gitarre und Gesang den Ball zu.

Ursprünglich werden im klassischen Flamenco ja keine Melodien frei improvisiert. Das kam erst um 1980 dazu, als Paco de Lucia, Al Di Meola und John Mc Laughlin die Gruppe „Superguitars“ bildeten und Al Di Meola den Flamenco Spezialisten Paco fragte, warum er denn nicht improvisiert. Für Paco de Lucia tat sich hier eine völlig neue Welt auf. Seitdem hielten Improvisationen Einzug in den Flamenco.

Bei unserer CD Produktion kommt noch ein typisches Flamenco Element hinzu: die Rhythmusgitarre spielt eine sogenannte „Falseta“.

Was das ist? Im Flamenco begleitet der Gitarrist Sänger und Tänzer, die sich bei einer Fiesta abwechseln. Und zwischen Gesangs- und Tanzeinlagen bereichert der Gitarrist das ganze durch virtuose Einlagen auf der Gitarre, eben die Falsetas.

Eine Falseta in einer Gesangs- und Gitarren Improvisation? Da braucht Vorbereitung, Probezeit. Und wie oft übersieht man das Weitergeben ja in der Begeisterung auf der Bühne. Gibt es eine bessere Gelegenheit, das ins Live Programm einzubringen, als während einer CD Produktion im eigenen Studio? Natürlich haben meine Schüler Spaß an der Rockmusik, Mittwoch ist Vorspielabend im Musikprojekt Mariagrün, wo ich unterrichte. Dafür habe ich schon wieder ein paar Klassiker der Rockmusik so aufgenommen, dass sich die Schüler gut auf den Vorspielabend vorbereiten können. Die nächste Zeit kann für Dich auch hier interessant werden.

What has been my topic for some time now: the CD production of our group “LiLA y Geckos”. That you can experience the creation process. We've been improvising live over flamenco rhythms for years, and we've played a lot of great gigs.

But a CD production is something completely different. You have the opportunity to shape the structure. Not just like on stage: rhythm guitar, but solo guitar and vocals pass the ball to each other during improvisation.

Originally, no melodies were improvised freely in classical flamenco. This only came about in 1980, when Paco de Lucia, Al Di Meola and John Mc Laughlin formed the group “Superguitars” and Al Di Meola asked the flamenco specialist Paco why he didn't improvise. This opened up a whole new world for Paco de Lucia. Since then, improvisation has found its way into flamenco.

Our CD production adds a typical flamenco element: the rhythm guitar plays a so-called “falseta”.

A falseta in a vocal and guitar improvisation? That takes preparation, rehearsal time. And how often do you overlook passing it on in the enthusiasm on stage? Is there a better opportunity to incorporate this into a live program than during a CD production in your own studio? Of course my students enjoy rock music, Wednesday is audition night at the Mariagrün music project, where I teach. I've already recorded a few rock classics so that the students can prepare well for the audition evening. The next few months could also be interesting for you here.
