Auf Erkundungstour 😎/ Exploring my new home 😎 (GER/ENG)

Ich war heute wieder einmal mit neugierigen Augen 👀 in meinem neuen Wohnort unterwegs. Und nicht schnell, schnell auf dem Weg zur Arbeit oder zurück, sondern ich habe mir wirklich Zeit ⏱ genommen alles auf mich wirken zu lassen. Und da kam ich an einem kleinen Haus vorbei, das ich zwar bis jetzt schon wahrgenommen habe, aber nie bin ich stehen geblieben und hineingegangen. Heute war es soweit, ich habe das Sissikuss betreten und kam mit der Inhaberin, Katharina Weglehner ins Reden.

Was steckt da jetzt schönes drin? 😄

Und da war er wieder: Der Grund, warum ich mich hier so wohl fühle. Die offenen und herzlichen Menschen. 😍 Die es auch verstehen Altes mit Neuem zu verbinden, nachhaltig, schön, ästhetisch.
In der Region zu produzieren, was die Region zu bieten hat und auch anderen Talenten eine Plattform zu bieten. Das alles vereint das www.sissikuss.at.

Weit ab von Kitsch – in meinen Augen – modern, lässig und wie gesagt – nachhaltig. Und wie ich mich da so umsehe, fällt mir ein Spruch auf: Dahoam is wos Herz is. Frei übersetzt: Dort wo sich dein Herz wohl fühlt, ist bist du ZUHAUSE.

Da kommt mir das Wort HEIMAT in den Sinn. Für mich ein grosses Wort. Und ich denke Heimat und Zuhause sind 2 verschiedene Dinge. Heimat ist für mich dort, wo ich meine Wurzeln habe. Zuhause fühle ich mich jetzt in Bad Ischl und kann sich auch mehrmals im Leben ändern. Heimat gibt es für mich nur 1 Mal.

Das waren meine Eindrücke auf meiner Erkundungstour heute.

I was today once again with curious eyes 👀 in my new place of residence on the road. And not quickly, quickly on the way to work or back, but I really took time to let everything affect me. And there I passed a small house, which I have noticed until now, but never stopped and went inside. Today was the day, I entered the Sissikuss and came to talk with the owner, Katharina Weglehner.

Is there anything nice in it?

And there it was again: The reason why I feel so comfortable here. The open and warm people. 😍 Who also understand how to combine the old with the new, sustainably, beautifully, aesthetically.

To produce in the region what the region has to offer and also to offer a platform to other talents. All this unites the www.sissikuss.at.
Far from kitsch - in my eyes - modern, casual and as I said - sustainable. And as I look around there so, I notice a saying: Dahoam is wos Herz is. Freely translated: Where your heart feels good, you are AT HOME.

The word HOMELAND comes now to my mind. For me a big word. And I think homeland and home are 2 different things. Homeland for me is where I have my roots. I feel at home in Bad Ischl now and it can change several times in my life. Homeland for me exists only 1 time.

These are the thoughts and impressions of my todays exploring.
