RE: Dependent but not addicted

(edited)

A lot of people think of digital things like addiction, but I wonder how many people think driving is an addiction or cooking is an addiction. For me is just the thing we do in the modern world. We have digital lives, with relationships, business and ideas. We have a meeting of the minds online all the time. Whenever is to share Anime or TV Shows theories, or talk about the economy, politics or just to pass the time listening to music, watching shows and/or actually doing work on research and coding.
So addiction? Maybe to the untrained eye that have a life similar to the 1970s. But for people that live in the digital world which is now the real world, is just part of being human.
I would actually flip it, and argue those people are sick and are toxic to the modern world. They are digitally inept, antisocial and can't hold a job online. They are also useless when it comes to protecting themselves from digital threats and are a weight on humanity evolution.
