Dear cyber & crypto punks,
I rebranded the app originally released as Crypto Space 77 to Cyber Space 77 to appeal to a broader audience and to make the brand more future-proof and scalable, not to be perceived solely as a crypto app. Hope it makes sense.
Moving fast and break things.
Reposting the original release notes:
Let's build a modern, ultra-fast, lightweight and truly open-source web app for the hive social network, in the spirit of Satoshi Nakamoto.
Open, free and censorship-resistant.
Cyber Space 77 runs entirely in your browser, and can thus be downloaded, modified and run on your own PC or smartphone, making it more resilient to frontend censorship attempts.
Run the alpha preview at your own risk, the app was vibe coded from scratch and thus still lacks many features, but progress is ultra-fast too as the app.
Leave feedback, feature requests, and major bug or security reports in the comments. But keep in mind that this alpha preview is not final yet, working hard to fix as many bugs as possible before adding new features.
Welcome to Cyber Space 77. Own your stake and your social media algo.
Follow to get dev updates. See you in cyberspace77 :)

Welcome to Hive, @cyberspace77 — shifting from Crypto Space 77 to Cyber Space 77 makes sense if you want the app’s identity to extend beyond crypto. The option to download, modify, and run the frontend locally stands out as a practical approach to censorship resistance. InLeo Threads (inleo.io) could be useful for sharing quick dev updates and gathering feedback from Hive’s crypto community while you work through the alpha bugs. What’s the biggest technical hurdle you’re tackling before adding new features?
