The way I see rules are that they are simply ways on what behaviours are acceptable or not by the mass public. It doesn't matter how much power or stake you have on Hive, if you come up with a stupid rule like everyone must log onto Hive at 5pm local time and make 5 comments every day, no one is going to support you.

Even if there's a "rule' that's accepted by a lot of people, not everyone is obliged to follow it. There are many 'outliers' who continue to do their own stuff on Hive despite the disapproval of many others.
