The Brand New CTPtalk.com
It's live!!
After a few hiccups, we've launched the new 'Outposts' version of CTPtalk.com and thought it would be a good idea to go over a few of the new features of the front end!
The Layout (It Will Change!)
There are 3 columns when you first get to the front page and the order will be changing as we rearrange a few things.
Right now, the top paid posts take up the bulk of the page on the top, followed by the bottom left (Trending / Popular) and then to the right (Latest or newest posts).
We are going to move Popular and Trending as the focus to the top and play with how the content displays. We're going to try to add page views, engagement and of course payouts as factors that determine how our trending content is viewed.
That would slide top payout posts to the left and keep latest to the right.
Light / Dark Modes
You can toggle between light and dark display with the button on the top left of the page.
Whichever your preference, you have the choice now!
Publish Your Posts
This editor is CLEAN!!!
We love it :)
And it's got all the features you've come to know and love from the most popular front end publishing platforms on Hive.
Which brings us to something AWESOME....
3Speak Embeds Work!!
We're so excited about this! One of the worst things about the previous condensers were....3speak videos never displayed on them!
Not with the new CTPtalk.com!!!
You can now embed and PLAY all your favorite 3speak videos....And yeah, even YouTube if you HAVE to lol
Account Settings / Wallet
On the top right, there is a drop down menu that can take you to:
- Profile
- Comments
- Replies
- Wallet
- Account Settings
And everything you need to help you manage your account!
Things We'll Be Working On
As we get familiar and comfortable with this new front end we'll be working on the following features:
- Rearranging the trending / popular layouts as mentioned above
- Spell check for the editor
- Live price feed for CTP
- The NFT marketplace for Super Secret Project #9559
- Lead capture / autoresponder forms
- Advertising options
- Links to LeoDex for CTP and CTPM trading
And so much more :)
We hope you fall in love with this new platform as much as we do and we'll continue to help CTP grow as a thriving community and tribe on and off the blockchain!

Seems to be ok, we have records of all past posts on the new CTP.
I got the following error when trying to post comments after logging in. I assume I am logged in since it shows my username with a green checkmark.

Couldn't login, there was no option, keychain is completely strange to me and it feels like that's the only choice to login.
we'll see if we can add hive signer to the mix. we're just in love with keychain lol

Keychain works very good!
You can download the keychain app from the AppStore. It has a built in browser.
But yeah, I prefer hivesigner on mobile too

Yeah there are some issues with mobile, and we're in the process of trying to get hive signer for a log in option as well.

We'll eventually get that integrated into the front end too.
I like the new feel on the outposts. Once they clear the initial bugs that were revealed, I think they're a clear improvement over the rough clone of the condenser.
They will push an update soon to fix a lot of this stuff. Crossing fingers lol

Looking awesome! And speeds for sure are MUCH faster on the commenting front etc which is a huge improvment to the UI. Advertising and also NFTs could play some huge factors to bring even more value to the CTP token. Keep up the good work.
