The question was mainly because usually tokens that don't have staking enabled, (at least yet) having the liquid inside or outside the pool is sort of the same, in terms of the locking mechanism. But I understand that counting with the pools snapshots is more delicate. Unless you are thinking of enabling staking in the future, then I understand.
[@PowerPaul:] No. You have to decide where you want to invest in. Into the pool or for collecting CCP. My recommendation: Do both! ;-)
