If I could turn back time

Most times our past mistakes are what have led us to face certain challenges that we were meant to avoid in the first place.

Looking back at my life I know that I have 🐝 the word MISTAKE , like I was the one who perfected the name or worse embodied it.

I remember back then in early 2020s before the COVID 19 fiasco , I was in a football Academy where by raw talents around the country comes to join our academy and if scouts was around who happens to see you play and likes how you play you are traveling out for a major trials with their club..
At times you could see former super eagles players coming to join us in training or watching us train ,so you could actually know how big the academy is . It happened this day that ex super eagles player came to the training with his son to watch us play and give us some encouraging words , and it happens that my dad also came for the first time to see me train and know where I train , and they engaged in to discussion between my dad and the former super eagles player. Which went very well , later that day I met my dad and asked him what was the discussion all about and he told me that he wanted the player to take out to get a trial at his former club which he to told the amount it would cost and my dad was like ok , he can rally up to gather some money .

But honestly I was being pure , I told my dad that he shouldn't go with that , that I wanted to follow through the normal road that cutting corners is not my style,and I don't want other kids who their parents are not in support in football and we play together to feel like their world can be blessed. Men was I making the biggest mistake not only did I lose that opportunity,but I also wasn't use in that academy, what do I meant . If it gets to when we are having scouting trials ,l the coach drops me on the beach I become the slave , by cleaning the balls setting up everything most times I even wash the jerseys other players use .every time.

At a point other players would speak out that coach allow this guy to play and it became an issue . My mom had to stop me from using her detergents in washing the jerseys and even worse after me meeting him explaining things to him I was not even used in the training session.

I had mental break down on that , because had it been I gave green light to my dad that very day it won't be too story , who knows where and which clubs I would have been. Which brings me to my theme 'IF I COULD TURN BACK TIME " or even a second chance I would have done better.
