In biblical counseling, no matter how much we desire a "good and favorable" result to the counselee, we should not give them false hope. I am amazed at how Wayne Mack addressed the woman’s concern. It requires not only a wider perspective and understanding of the situation, but accepting the reality of the situation and the character of God for in order to lead someone toward biblical hope.
