Yes,working from home has many advantages. Apart from the ones you already mentioned (yes it's much more agreable and pleasant), it would lead to less traffic if more people could work from home, which means less pollution and smog. Also there would be less traffic jam on the streets so the ones who have to drive (for example ambulance, police, food delivery services etc.) could be faster.
