Thanks! I just noticed that even the current script was buggy. I will still need to fiddle with it, because it just doesn't cut it for the job I originally wanted and created it for.

Luckily, the flood has subsided. People are in the phase of cleaning up all the mud. Then, within a week we could observe all the damages around the house and garden.
