As I live in a distant district of the Beijing municipality that is around 60 km from downtown, I don't have much exposure to downtown Beijing with its rush peak hours and modern views of the city. The Huairou district where I live is a natural place of beautiful mountains, lakes and rivers that make the surrounding views like pictures, which are completely different from the Beijing city area views.
The blue sky as the background of these tall buildings seems so beautiful, with slight air pollution that is noticeable in the far distance on the horizon, as you can see in these pictures. These views are almost artificial in my observation, as most of the shots are in Huairou or other districts' natural attractions, but here you can only find these streets with few cars, as it was not rush hour, and these tall buildings.
Dear @tanzil2024 !
Is Beijing's population larger than that of Dhaka and Chittagong in Bangladesh? Do you think Dhaka has problems with severe air pollution and population concentration because Bangladesh has a smaller territory than China?
Unfortunately that's true!
Dear Hassan!
East Asian scholars argue that although Bangladesh possesses fertile land and active maritime trade, its excessive population hinders urban development.
They argued that reducing Bangladesh's population was necessary for urban development!😄
