What a rollercoaster this has been—I was thinking it was a corporate whistleblower thing, then it went to full horror territory with the chimpanzee reveal. The recording coming back as static and hissing was really disturbing, and her wearing her face with the employee ID was a great last image. Nice structural decision. Also framing it as Sarah telling her story to a writer in a nursing home decades later makes you wonder how much of what happened to her was ever believed. Great job on the freewrite prompt; it definitely made "chimpanzee in the office" into something nobody would see coming.
