It is always nice to have a loved one to celebrate milestones with. Surprising you last minute was very special. She sounds like a wonderful person. True friends become like family indeed. Your friendship sounds like one to be treasured.

I was really surprised and wasn't expecting my family members due to the distance. My dad who wouldn't mind the distance is I'll so I wasn't expecting anybody after she said work won't permit her. I love the surprise.
