Good reading in the middle of the night!
Great post—thought-provoking and layered with both historical insight and personal experience!
You’ve highlighted a timeless tension: the imbalance between those who bear the weight of systemic failures and those who reap rewards while deflecting responsibility. Your reflection on running a business during the 2008 crisis—prioritizing your workers over yourself—shows a rare integrity that’s often missing in today’s profit-at-all-costs culture.
It’s also refreshing to see that ethical stance carried into your work with the WorkerBee Pool: no fees, bonus tokens, and genuine appreciation for delegators. In a space where exploitation is too common (even in crypto), your approach stands out as both sustainable and human-centered.
The rise of decentralized systems does threaten old power structures—and yes, the “latecomers” are scrambling. But communities like yours prove that wealth creation doesn’t have to come at someone else’s expense. Keep lighting the way… especially as we move toward longer days and, hopefully, fairer systems.
P.S. Congrats on the 112 BEE mined and that massive 5.7M STARBITS distribution! 🐝✨
Thanks for reading and your nice comment! Appreciate your kind words! 🙏
Regarding the WORKERBEE pool, it's kind of mutual benefit... Delegations help my H-E node to be in Top20, and organizing the pool, adding bonus tokens, + writing about WORKERBEE tokens in general is my giving back to the community... It's not a big deal, but thanks to these posts, I know that many learned a lot about WB, BEE, and H-E in general...
Cheers! 🍻
