You went beyond the call of duty to help Sunday but he did not recognise your commitment nor the risk you were taking. It is good that you could retrieve the tricycle and nothing was revealed to the company. You broke the rules but for a good reason and you were lucky that things turned out fine. It is understandable that there are lessons learnt from this situation.

I learned that rules must be kept as rules and breaking them even with good intentions is not a good thing. I would have lost my job and even my respect if the company found out what I did.
