This reminded me of an acquaintance of mine back in the 80's who thought the Jefferson Starship lyric, "Big old jet airliner..." was "Big old Chet had a line out". If you play the song now you'll never hear those lyrics the same again. Lol!

Haha, that is funny! I think it was Steve Miller Band though :) I think the author Dave Barry(sp?) wrote a whole book about song lyrics that people often mess up like that.
It cracks me up! Oh, you're right. There've been a few I've misinterpreted too but I can think of them off the top of my head.
