Women kidnapping men and murdering them isn’t taking charge.
If you want to read a real book about female empowerment, I would suggest a fantasy book. The authors just get it right over there. Anything asides that, almost always goes downhill. About 8 out of 10, from the books I've read.
Sorry you had to waste time like that and thanks for sharing. I'll do well to stay clear from this book title.

I would say Poppy war series. Yes, definitely Poppy war.And maybe shatter me. And also the serpent of night. You could also try The Cruel prince, that's if you haven't already read that one;)
