HIVE Power Up Day February 2025, and How I Did In January
It the first of February, and that means only one thing. Well, two if you include winter finally fading away and the hope of spring arriving by the end of the month.
But this post is about the other thing. Hive Power Up Day.
I've done my bit, finding a bit of fiat I could afford to invest (tough after using a chunk of savings on a new car just before Christmas !)
I spent last night working through all my end-of-month jobs, but running EOM reports for my real world business and analysing crypto performance.
It turns out that by applying consistent but reasonable effort, together with a bunch of things totally outside my control - you know, crypto prices, exchange rates, stuff like that - January turned out to be the best month I've had yet.
Almost all my January crypto earings were from Hive. With pressure of work something had to give, and I decided that other crypto earning options really just don't give the results compared to Hive.
Total earnings looked like this;
Hive Power - 192.994 HIVE = £62.03
HBD - 77.313 HBD = £60.49
LEO - 116.366 LEO = £3.01
EDSI - 8.873 = £3.12
BBHO - 81.7308 = £1.37
Trading - combined HIVE/HBD gain of £8.63 (based on £28.49 initial investment)
I'm really happy with this. Most of my hobbies cost me money, it's nice to have a fun hobby that also makes a bit !

Thank you ! It's definitely getting there, just a case of plugging away and trying to remember to post every day. But compounding is definitely playing a bigger role as the stash gets bigger 😀
