I haven't got a lot of gold, I actually should buy more to balance my portfolio better.

But I have a simple principle with it; in the same way we say "not your keys, not your crypto", I also say "not my safe, not my gold".

Bullion dealers all love to push the idea that they'll look after your gold in their vaults. But if the time comes when we have to leave the country in a big hurry as society collapses into civil war around us, I want to be able to grab the physical gold and go, not wait for a bullion company to (maybe) stick it in the post to me.
