RE: AI itself is not evil

I agree, AI itself isn't the problem. The biggest grievance I have with AI is the way too many people use it and talk about it. It shouldn't be anthropomorphized, and Sam Altman and Dario Amodei need to stop talking like they're raising SkyNet. AI is a tool and it is NOT alive any more than a system's CPU is. As a tool, AI can be used for good and/or bad. It's up to the users to choose to wield it well.

That's without even getting into the potential market manipulation being committed...
