Due diligence ... that is what we need more of ... people want to read metrics and make a snap decision and not take into account people's humanity.

That's right, and frankly even a bit of review of metrics and data would've given them a much clearer, more accurate idea!
The key here is accountability, which a category that encompasses due diligence. Many people lack accountability, particularly when it comes with limited to no consequences (i.e. posting online about someone anonymous). Even for your own sense of integrity, having some accountability and honesty is important. How does this reflect on how a person approaches important topics and tasks in real life?
Quite badly ... and these are the type of behaviors that can wreck Hive and whole nations ... it can be seen in REAL TIME...
By the way, I come across your comments once in a while and it's refreshing to see someone write out their thoughts and ideas in a considered, logical manner. Thanks for bringing this to Hive!
