It can happen !INDEED, but in this case, it's a known issue with the latest Android version of Actifit. They changed how the app counts steps, and it's completely off now. I have at least 6 step counters on that very same phone, at the moment for today, they're all around 6700 steps (+ or - 50 steps), except Actifit only at 2500 steps! The solution suggested is to use Health Connect, except on my phone it doesn't seem to be possible to set it up in Actifit, while it works fine with several other apps. It's really no big deal anyways, as I never could rely on Actifit for accurate step count, it's always been quite off, which is weird since it's really its sole purpose.
