In today's fast-paced world, we need an anchor to show us where we are, where we belong, where we come from.
And everyone has the right to choose what that is, or rather to find it. Not wanting to dwell on whether it is faith, disbelief, faith in science, faith in oneself or family ....
We must have an anchor so that our restless sea of life does not break.

It does not matter whether our support comes from faith, reason, love or the power of the cross that was borne for us. But one thing must not be overlooked: it does make a difference whether our support comes from the ego.
For the ego seeks control, not trust. It feeds on fear, not love. A true anchor carries us without binding us – it gives us direction without dominating us.
It is crucial that we do not lose this support. For without it, life quickly becomes an aimless drift... I have been there before – and I never want to go back.
Today I know that a firm foundation is not a possession, but a relationship. It is a decision that we can make again and again – with humility, with hope and with an open heart.
