Walking through the Church of Lourdes

Hello dear Hivers, today I bring you a few photos that I took while walking through the Church of Lourdes, in Tres de Febrero Argentina, where I live.
I am not religious, nor a practitioner, I consider myself Agnostic but despite this I love the infrastructure that the Churches have, and it is very beautiful, as you can see in the following photos:

They even have a page where you can get the information you are looking for about Mass times, guided tours, as well as some of their history.

A little about its history and its Source:

On May 9, 1921, the statue of the Virgin of Lourdes was placed, this was manufactured in Lyon, France, made of cast iron, structure of 1.70 meters and weighing 400 kilos. This gave rise to the beginning of the construction of the church, the person in charge of carrying out the construction was Father Antonio Silbermann.2 On October 11, 1922, the auxiliary bishop of La Plata, Mons. Francisco Alberti, blesses the first stone of the Basilica of Lourdes, in the presence of Dr. Luis Cantilo, then Governor of the Province of Buenos Aires.

Here are the beautiful flowers that live in your lands

These effects with the glasses, called religious stained glass windows that contain in art, faith, a beautiful reflection of color:

It is not the first time that I walk inside the church, it is undoubtedly beautiful, I was lucky enough to live in front of it for 2 years (although it was during the pandemic, and walking was very restricted) it is very moving to see people go and believe... I recommend the weekend walk, since they open the doors to walk along the heights of the beautiful church.
