I am going to try to keep it up on a Hive Newsletter about my Digital and IRL life. I have and produce a lot of content and I don't have time to post as much as I want or as I should, so, because of that I will have to create time, and the best way to create time in the future is organizing yourself in the present, and therefore I will introduce you guys my partner into that new adventure, and the first hack of this post (a good one), the SkateServer. She is a NAS and with her I am organizing my content in my own cloud.

This is the SkateServer:

My new cloud friend, its made of:

• Skateboard Deck
• Raspberry Pi 4B
• SSD nvme 4TB ( no reason to be nvme)
• Old Dell Notebook Screen
• LCD screen
• Argon one NVME case
• HDMI-compatible LVDS controller board
• OpenMediaVault

	With this connected to my router I can use Plex so I can access my content from anywhere in the world

Well , that was not easy, but also not impossible to set up, huge shout out to NetworkChuck that put together this awesome tutorial video. Not trivial but tottally worthy it, now I can easily transfer content around using the network folders of any OS.

🛹 Happened on SkateHive

🦹‍♂️ Skatehive Server Hack 🦹‍♂️

Yes you read it right, someone(s) tried to hack Skatehive and Gnars server and created fake 2 or more fishing websites. It happened some weeks ago, but I saved some information so we can learn from it.

Here is what happened:

⚔ Attack

1. Hacker was bought Skatehive and Gnars fake domains, probably aiming the holders of Gnars and its 300k+ USDC treasure. Here is the whois information showing that the hacker planned the attack 1 month before it actually happened

DONT ENTER THOSE, THEY ARE PHISHING WEBSITES

1. Hacker got access to Knowhow92 discord account even with knowhow92 having 2FA set up and everything else. With this access the hacker was quickly stopped on gnars after it first everyone announcement, but he was able to remove all the moderators of skatehive once KnowHow92 was the Discord Server Owner. At this point the server was hostage and we only had access through unpriviledges alt accounts.

2. The hacker started to announce fake token Airdrops from Skatehive and From Gnars

1. The fake website had a very shady wallet connector asking you to connect your wallet
   

2. This is the injected script that would drain your wallet funds if you had connected in the website

🛡 Defense

Protect yourself and people that surround you by:

• Setting up 2FA in everything
• Dont use easy passwords
• Buy a YubiKey
• Buy a Hardware Wallet like a Keepkey.com for your crypto
• Be Aware of new Discord members that accounts are recently created and/or get all the roles when they enter your discord.
• Let moderators know about suspicius behavior
• Never share your private keys and never believe that you won something for free from your DMs

Fortunally, everything is fine now, and our Discord is so secure that we have a lot of users complaining about permissions hehe, better safe than sorry, with time we polish from overprotected to secure enough, till then, go try another community hacker, no one lost funds, so thanks for the free learning experience.

On Nounish Lands ⌐◨-◨

⚔ Apart from Gnars I am also part of Nouns Brasil (nounsbr.wtf) Community. And While I was writing about the hack above a vulnerability was found and exploited on NounsBR Governance.

⚔ Recently, an unidentified wallet revealed a configuration oversight in the contract governance system. The issue wasn't with the contract's core functionality, but rather with its deployment settings. Specifically, the reserve price was set at 1 wei (the minimum bid amount for nounish auctions). However, our website interface only accepts bids higher than 0.01 ETH (or 10,000,000,000,000,000 wei). Exploiting this discrepancy, the "hacker" managed to win several auctions by placing bids of just 0.0000000000000001 ETH while the community was "sleeping" on auctions (cant blame then, ETH gas fees are really though of Brazil community if they are painful in dollar multiply that by 5 my gringo friend)

⚔ After getting enough tokens to beat quorum alone, he made a proposal to drain the entire treasure:

🛡 JP.⌐◨-◨ and other nounish builders sent me a message and asked how people could bid less than the minimum, immediatly I remembered the proposal we made on Gnars to increase the ReservePrice from 0.01 to 0.02, that was defeated, so I came to Tech Party of Gnars community and bagelface was very fast replying and double checking the exploit and the proposal we made to fix the vulnerability.

🛡 After this fix, the community is prepared to vote against the proposal.

🛡 Today he tried to scoop one more, but I used the same method to overbid him:

The problem left is the new big malicious whale, which might be the last drop in the bucket for the community to move to layer 2 and airdrop past holders with new tokens. So may be that was the best engagement move for the community this year so far :)

Ok, enough extreme nerd stuff and lets go to the nerd stuff so then we can get some skateboarding at the end.

I've observed a remarkable 10% growth in just one month following our achievement of distributing $50,000 through the Skatehive initiative. This rapid progress is truly encouraging!

Ok, enough nerd stuff. Time for some skateboarding and travel stuff

Some weeks ago I visit argentina with my great friend HighLander to study the local crypto market and, in my paeticular case, also to connect with the local skateboarding scene and skate.

We arrived by night so after putting our bags in the airbnb we went for dinner. The inflation there really sucks there right now so we could exchange dollars for pesos, the normal rate was 1 USD = 850 Pesos, but you can get up to 1200 Pesos in some restaurants and business that you can use dollars to pay.

Dont be foooled. As I said, a lot of inflation going on there, so I will probably make more money on that post than all those bills worth together

After Dinner, Highlander went home but I wanted to find weed stay a little longer. I ended up finding (attracted by a unrhytmed singing) this awesome, kind of corny, karaoke place in the same street. And I marked my first night with this dubious performance of Davie Bowie - Rock and Roll Suicide, from Flip Sorry video from 2003 heheh.

I suck, but the bar disagrees, "OTRA!" means one more! And yeah I sang ehhehehe

Was a very nice trip starting.

In the first morning I needed a coffee

There are a lot of coffee places in Buenos Aires, I particulary loved this one that you could print anything in your coffee. For my first morning coffee I chose this picture I made at the same day I boarded the plane to Argentina.

And basically I had breakfast in that place 3 times during the trip

Me and Highlander eating on a very yammy restaurant. Argentina is the place for wine, meat, dulce de leche,

Have you ever noticed that when Highlander is deep in thought, his hair seems to mimic the action of a psittacine crest? Just like those expressive parrots, it seems to rise with the intensity of his ideas!

and then I went to the local skatepark, the meeting point of Buenos Aires skateboarding scene: PLAZA HOUSSAY

I runned into old friends there (I've been there once before) ,

and I made some new friends...

First day in Houssay Rained at the end, but that was no problem for the locals:

Fun coincidence: I went to the local skateshop the next day and I found the same guy working there. I bought a new board and left my old one with that guy to give to Alfonso. (the guy with the red shirt on his shoulder couple images above)

Alfonso broke his board in 2 diferent parts befored lending a perfect kickflip in the stairs of houssay plaza. Unfortunally I dont have footage of that, but I got those mannys flip out for you guys before the rain came:

I Discovered that place that re-sell apple products and also trades crypto for USD or AG PESOS, so the rest of my trip from here was paid with USDT on Tronn (yes thats what they like to use)

The next day I met a very very good friend: Luiz (Karao7e)

We went together to the new spots of Porto Madero, did I mention, he is also a photographer, he made those cool pictures

Hugo on the left that flew from Brazil to meet me right after Highlander left, dude is crazy. And Alf on the right, we all were kicked out from the spot by a military seconds after stretching. I got a lot of footage from Hugo but I am hoping he is going to make his first skatehive post

But before that on that day, in that morning I found that stairset, which is pretty perfect, but I could ruin my day on it so I just ollied to pee the pole. I am definetelly comming back to that spot in June/July (I am planning to come back to AG)

At this point, my shoe was over, but Luiz managed to get me those Jeff Grosso's, my pants were ruined and I went fixed on a seamstress and I found those little letters thing.

New shoes on, I met Gonza.eth from welook.io , I know personally welook builders and they are all awesome, we had some ideas for ETH denver, played Jenga, and he gave me 20 NFC welook cards so I can give to ShapeShift contributors and coMKT

Fun Fact: the waiter was a skater from Houssay Plaza and our Fries were the best !

Argentina is full of museums, I couldn't enter some of then because I was carrying my skateboard and apperentally they are way "too big for the locker" But I could enter some, I didnt take much pictures, my favorite one was the history of cience which was for kids and old kids like me:

Next to the museums e have the National Law School, which looks like a Sant Seya Zodiac Warriors temple, I thought would be cool to do something there, so I kickflip'ed

I lost a little bit the timeline here, but I know that happened on the last day. Luiz sent us to that party and it was epic

In that place they had a eletronic music session in the second floor (which I got the music from the begining of the post) and the first floor was a alucicrazy rockandroll

Had no sleep and zoombied my way to the airport back to Brazil 15 days later. What a good time.

I hope you liked this mix of Vladness and my trip report I decided to share, I promise the next one will be pretty much random as this onecause I am going to Colombia and then Denver for Eth Denver and you know crypto and skateboarding are full of surprises
