Hello Hivians and all you beer lovers.
It's Saturday nope, it's actually fluffing Monday afternoon when UI am getting around to finishing this post and hitting publish! It was Saturday afternoon when I started! Which means it's #beersaturday, well for me at least it does!
And what a weekend it has been! The old four seasons in one day malarky!
Saturday's Beer Saturday
We were in town on Saturday so started off with a Scottish Breakfast...
They do have pretty branded glasses!
Did you see the blue halo glass effect?
The clam before the storm. At this point it was five past eleven in the morning, the sun and blue clouds that we followed on our walk to the pub had vanished...
Cheers to the food or the breakfast part of the Scottish Breafast I will point out that mine was a Large Scottish Breakfast.
Can you guess all the ingredients?
Actually I ended up drinking more coffee than beer 🤣
Apparantly this was quite a nice sauce, as I was asked to take a picture of it..
So here for posterity is a picture of Heinz Classic Barbecue Smokey & Rich!
I, although a saucy person, am not that big on sauce on my foods, unless you need to disguise the taste!
For the UK readers, I am sure you recognise the distinctive design on the plates!
The Beers ...
First up we had the Mexican staple lager Corona Extra and then a pint of Bud Light. For a morning pint, they were fine enough, I must admit the concensus was that Bud Light tastes better than Bud!
My Verdict
As it was all free, my verdict does not really matter that much, it all did the job before an afternoon of being out and about!

I haven’t had one this week but I did have a beer the other week with my friends. What a breakfast!! I don’t think I’ve ever tried having beer for breakfast though. Do you usually do morning beers?
I don't do it often to be honest. In fact only when I have to visit this pub and check they are doing things correctly. The best bit is the food lol
I must be at the beach to drink beers at 11 in the morning. Hahaha. Everything looks delicious: beers and food. I do like spicy and I would have added a few drops to the beans and the chorizo. A nice Monday with a Saturday vibe. Hugs with a crown, Ed 👑. Ah, yesterday's result was good
Oh you drink on the beach that early do you jaja! The food was good, hot and tasty and yes some times I put some spicy sauce on there, but not this week. Thanks Nancy, yes a win is a win, and that is the important thing. A big hug
