In the WOO Discord there are often discussions about the $WOO token and its price. If you're following the project closely, you probably have already seen that its price is slowly tanking. Although I think it's rather a buying opportunity and not a really big problem. As the WOO staff has always told us that the token will become harder to accumulate once the game goes live.

As the game is live since December, the opportunities to earn $WOO indeed became harder. Soon the rewards should go live for everyone as they should be live for Wrestlecon and as Wrestlecon is nearly there, so should the rewards be! Once rewards are live, people will have to invest $WOO tokens to upgrade their cities. Thus more $WOO will be actively used. Ofcourse rewards will consist out of $WOO tokens as well but these will be smaller amounts and people will have to play and/or own cities to get their hands on more tokens.

Bookerman recently explained that there will be other benefits for people who stake $WOO besides earning more $WOO. So better be prepared! ;p

What is WOO?

WOO, aka Wrestling Organization Online is an upcoming play2earn game on the Hive blockchain about wrestling. They aim to bring back territory wrestling, where the wrestlers are tradeable nft's. The public beta of the game launched on December the 13th. It's an autobattler in the theme of wrestling. There are 3 undercard events and 1 main event. Winning an undercard event gives you 1 point and winning the main event gives you 2 points, so 5 points are what we're fighting for. There are wrestler NFT's and manager NFT's which gives bonuses to the wrestlers. In the near future you'll be able to earn $WOO, just by playing the game, a real #play2earn game!
