Do you think there's an ideal number for a portfolio?
I try and keep to five and ideally a 20% split, the last bit hasn't worked so well. 😍
At one stage I had far too much in H-E compared to HIVE/HBD, but over the past year I've changed that bit by bit. There were a few lucky breaks, so I've done pretty well.

That's a really good question ! I think a lot depends on how much time you've got to put into it. I reckon half a dozen tokens is a good number for me, but the answer for other people might well be different.
But it's also down to the value of the Hive Engine portfolio. There's no point spending more than a few minutes a day if the part of the portfolio you're working on is only worth a couple of dollars. I realised that things like EDS kind of run themselves, LEO is a sort of mini-HIVE, and BEE is useful to have some of if you want to set up a Community. But everything else was taking up the bulk of the time for balances that were often only worth a few cents.
