No KYC Bitcoin = Freedom
I saw a thread shared on Twitter today that I thought was very compelling; a discussion on no KYC (know your customer identity verification) purchases of cryptocurrency and how it relates to individual freedom.
Acquiring no-KYC #bitcoin should be one of your 2022 goals. Bitcoin is freedom money, it shouldn't be tied to your identity.

This thread discusses different spots you can acquire Bitcoin without having to provide your identity.
I am of the mindset that we should never be required to show identity to do things like support ourselves financially or travel around the world, yet we live in a world where our private information is pretty much required for everything imaginable.
Something that I really like about cryptocurrency is the fact that we have things like DEX's and decentralized entities that allow us to purchase and move funds without being tracked.
This is of course a dual-edged sword as we have seen cryptocurrency involved with different crimes such as what happened with Ross Ulbricht and the Silk Road or Roger Ver and that dubious shipment of fertilizer, but this also happens with cash and fiat currency. With anonymity, governments surely won't be happy whether that money is being spent on a shirt or dangerous materials, but it feels like without it we are bound for an overly controlled world; there must be a happy medium somewhere.
In 2022, I am going to work towards only getting non-KYC Bitcoin even though I am doing nothing evil or illegal with my funds; it is more for the principal. It is still easier to sometimes use CEX's, but I am going to do what I can to make the transition to non-KYC. Do your own research and make sure that what you are doing aligns with your personal values.
