Guild Brawls With Pizza 2 - Two Champions In A Row and 1ST In Guild!

Time flies! Just completed the 92nd brawl with my awesome guild, which is none other than Pizza 2 The Deep Dish!

• Fun In The Discord Chats

Really appreciated the interaction in the Discord chats within the Pizza guilds. During the preparation phase, there's a lot of information sharing and discussion on who to fill each fray. During the brawls, there were reminders to members to complete their brawl battles. And after the brawls, there were celebratory messages and some members (including me) would write about our experience in the brawls. Aside from brawls, I thought the donations were also very well organised and tabulated, with lucky draws to incentivise donors as well.

• Staying In Bronze Fray

For this brawl, I decided to stick to what I fought in the last fray, which was Fray 6, which was 3/2/2/1. I felt I was starting to find my grove and this fray is neither too difficult nor too easy for me.

Had 6 battles this time and it was not an easy round, especially when they have recently introduced 3 rulesets for each battle. Moreover, I have rented out most of my cards because I was playing lesser these days.

• We Got 1st!!!

So for the final result, we were 1st out of 10 guilds and got 1023 Merits and around 11 SPS! That's two champions in a row - coincidentally since I returned from vacation! Hooray!

Individually, I had 6 fights this time and I won 5 of them this time! Finished 1st within the guild!

Battle 1 - LOSE

Gladius Card Used: Witch Of Warwick

Low mana battles always require a lot of creativity to handle the rulesets with limited options. In this one, I opted to clock Martyr twice on my Gladius card, and hopefully together with Bloodlust, it will be enough. Unfortunately, my opponent's cards were of a higher level and I came out short.

Battle 2 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Katrelba Gobson

My Earth battles were never good because I don't keep a good collection of Earth cards. I didn't think much for this battle except to put my best team with what I had, and when I saw Quora Towershead on the opposing side, I knew it was game over. Surprisingly, Katrelba Gobson and Goblin Psychic partnered extremely well and managed to overcome my opponent and got this very very unexpected win!

Battle 3 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: None

This deadly ruleset of Poison and Earthquake really tested my limits. I opted for cards with Immunity while my opponent went with cards that are Flying and Martyr. In the end, none of us was really the loser in this close fight as both teams died at the same round. Fortunately, the host (myself) took the win for this one. Yet another unexpected win!

Battle 4 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Gorth and Chimney Wallstop

I had the stronger team for this battle and Sand Worm did most of the heavy lifting with the powerful Sneak attacks. Routine win for this one!

Battle 5 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Sola Ranjell

For battles where cards lose all abilities, the choice of summoner is extremely important. I opted for a Life Magic lineup and brought in Delwyn Dragonscale and my full Magic lineup received a huge boost in damage. That damage output alone was enough to score this win comfortably.

Battle 6 - WIN

Opponent fled! Lol!

So that sums up my 6 battles for this brawl! 83% win rate, my run of wins continues despite being away for weeks!

The Merits are coming in fast and I have enough Merits for my 42nd Gladius case! That's my 4th Gorth and 5th Liza Fox so they both go up to Level 2!
