Guild Brawls With Pizza 2 - 8 Out Of 8 Wins!!!

Time flies! Just completed the 138th brawl with my awesome guild, which is none other than Pizza 2 The Deep Dish!

P.S. 137th brawl was skipped because I was away, but participated solely to get the free wins.

  • Fun In The Discord Chats

Really appreciated the interaction in the Discord chats within the Pizza guilds. During the preparation phase, there's a lot of information sharing and discussion on who to fill each fray. During the brawls, there were reminders to members to complete their brawl battles. And after the brawls, there were celebratory messages and some members (including me) would write about our experience in the brawls. Aside from brawls, I thought the donations were also very well organised and tabulated, with lucky draws to incentivise donors as well.

  • Moving Back To Bronze Fray

For this brawl, I made the decision to move back to a Bronze level fray, which is where my cards are at. It proved to a good decision but I was back to winning form!

Had 5 battles this time and it was not an easy round, especially when they have recently introduced 3 rulesets for each battle. Moreover, I have rented out most of my cards because I was playing lesser these days.

  • We Got 4th!!

So for the final result, we were 4th out of 10 guilds and got 485 Merits and around 12 SPS! A whole bag of SPS!

Individually, I had 6 fights this time and I won all 6 of them this time! Finished 1st within the guild! Due to change in format, wins are actually awarded to the players present in the fray if guilds decided to skip the fray. For this round, there were 2 additional wins for me.

Battle 1 - WIN

Battle 2 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Trapp Falloway

My opponent had higher level cards but there were of no trouble to my team. A perfect 6-0 battle with Trapp Falloway and Helheim Demon dishing out the hits.

Battle 3 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: None

Another perfect 6-0 win over here! My cards were significantly stronger in this very restrictive ruleset and Gargoya Devil was the star because of its accurate hits. For Neutral fights, Gargoya Devil is one of the hardest cards to handle and mine got the critical in this battle.

Battle 4 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Captain Katie

This was an extremely tough battle but Prismologist rose to the occasion. With Snipe in play, her hits dealt 7 damage per turn and even though I was lacking behind at the start, I managed to turn the tide around in time for close out the win.

Battle 5 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: None

My recent purchase of this Gold Foil Silent Sha-vi turned out to be an extremely good investment because at 5 mana, this card deals 3 Melee damage at the backline. In this battle, it hit all the way from the back to the front. Really a one card performance there and even the opposing Harklaw was not a challenge too.

Battle 6 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Larissa Kerato

This was almost like a free win because my opponent didn't field a strong lineup. With 55 mana to play, I packed in a strong lineup and it was just too easy.

So that sums up my 6 battles for this brawl! 100% win rate! Haven't had this for a long time and it's finally here! Top of the mountain!!!
