Guild Brawls With Pizza 2 - 6 wins out of 8 battles!

Time flies! Just completed the 25th brawl with my awesome guild, which is none other than Pizza 2 The Deep Dish!

• Fun In The Discord Chats

Really appreciated the interaction in the Discord chats within the Pizza guilds. During the preparation phase, there's a lot of information sharing and discussion on who to fill each fray. During the brawls, there were reminders to members to complete their brawl battles. And after the brawls, there were celebratory messages and some members (including me) would write about our experience in the brawls. Aside from brawls, I thought the donations were also very well organised and tabulated, with lucky draws to incentivise donors as well.

• Staying In Bronze Fray

For this brawl, I decided to stick to what I fought in the last fray, which was Fray 6, which was 3/2/2/1. I felt I was starting to find my grove and this fray is neither too difficult nor too easy for me. Had 8 battles this time and I thought I did very well! Hehe!

• We Got 2nd!

So for the final result, we maintained our podium this time, finished 2nd out of 10 guilds and got a whopping 915 Merits!

Individually, I had 8 fights this time, and what a change of fortunes, I managed to win 6! Ended up 3rd within the guild! Woohoo!

Battle 1 - LOSE

Gladius Card Used: Relenor Cleaver

It was a battle of the Melee attackers. Unfortunately, the opposing team got more Bloodlust than me and I lost the battle when it was down to 2 Gladius cards.

Battle 2 - LOSE

Gladius Card Used: Orella Abadon

Once again, it was down to a competition for Bloodlust and Orella Abadon lost out. The extra 1 Armor on the opposing team made me spend extra hits.

Battle 3 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Katrelba Gobson

Daria Dragonscale made its 3rd appearance out of 3 brawls for my team and this time Bloodlust worked in my favour as my opponent placed a lot of weak cards at the backline. Katrelba Gobson single-handedly destroyed the opposing team.

Battle 4 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Trapp Falloway

Would definitely call upon Trapp Falloway in low mana battles. The triple Weaken from Thaddius Brood/Undead Priest/Trapp Falloway reduced my opposing team to 1 HP and with Death Elemental's Snipe and Blast, the whole opposing team was gone in 2 rounds. One of the fastest wins.

Battle 5 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: None

I almost lost this battle as the damage output from the opposing team was quite massive, but thanks to Yodin Zaku's Blast, I somehow managed to turn the battle around and snatched a close win! One can always count on Yodin Zaku!

Battle 7 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Relenor Cleaver

Just as I praised Yodin Zaku, this time round, I came face to face with one on the opposing team. Somehow, the lineup was very weak and all my 6 cards survived the entire battle. It was a team effort but the most credit should go to the tank for holding the fort strongly.

Battle 8 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Trapp Falloway

Trapp Falloway got picked for another low mana battle. The opposing Harklaw was a tough tank to handle but because Trapp Falloway only cost 4 mana, I had a strong backline to deal damage and that made the difference.

So that sums up my 8 battles for this brawl! Really happy with the result!

The Merits are coming in fast and I have enough Merits for my 12th Gladius case! 1 Epic and 1 Rare cards, but nothing new. Good amount of CP nonetheless.
