The sound of the approaching vehicles was like thunder rolling over the quiet countryside. Thomson, his son, and Vincent quickly realized they had only moments to act.

Thomson: "Back exit, now. We have to split up."

The trio darted through the safe house, slipping out the back just as the front door was breached. In the cover of the dense woods, they separated, each taking a different path to avoid capture.

Thomson (to his son): "Head to the rendezvous point we discussed. Stay off the main roads. Use the tracker if you get into trouble."

His son nodded, a mix of fear and determination in his eyes, before disappearing into the underbrush.

Thomson and Vincent moved with practiced stealth, evading the search teams combing the area. The sound of dogs barking and radios crackling filled the air, a constant reminder of the danger on their heels.

Vincent: "We have to assume every safe house is compromised. We need a new plan."

Thomson: "There's an old contact of mine, lives off the grid. It's a long shot, but it's our best bet."

Navigating through the woods, Thomson and Vincent eventually reached an old cabin, hidden deep within the forest. The owner, an ex-military friend of Thomson's, greeted them warily.

Thomson's Friend: "Thomson? What the hell are you doing here?"

Thomson: "I need your help, old friend."

After explaining their situation, Thomson's friend agreed to shelter them, offering a temporary respite from the relentless pursuit.

Meanwhile, Thomson's son, making his way through the wilderness, encountered a patrol. A tense chase ensued, ending with a narrow escape as he managed to lose his pursuers in a rocky ravine.

The episode closes with Thomson, Vincent, and Thomson's friend huddled around a table, maps and notes spread out before them, planning their next move. A radio crackled to life, the news reporting widespread unrest in the city as more corruption was exposed, a direct result of their actions.

This journey is fraught with so much danger and I fear for Thomson's son. I just hope Thomson's shelter is not compromised as well because the network of corruption is huge, so 'Powers that be' are doing everything possible to silence anyone and everyone connected to exposing the truth.
