These past weeks, I have really spent alot of money in such a way that shouldn't be but due to certain reasons I had no other option than to spend but spend wisely and no matter how wise I was spending, it never stopped me from being broke at the end.

Recently I gave myself an Advice and I made a schedule to start saving my money either on a weekly or monthly basis depending on how the money would come in but what if the money doesn't come in? 🤔, Well that wasn't my business at first so the problem was where am i going to save this money?.

Certainly not inside my purse or under my pillow because I know what I can do whenever I start craving for frozen yogurts or maybe groceries. I needed a more secured and inaccessible space for saving and the first idea I had was the bank.
Yes my bank has a saving and a current account for me so I decided to start saving my money in the bank.

The truth is I needed to start saving money but there was no money for me to save! Which is very funny and I was left with just ₦500 naira which is about $0.9 us dollar.
I know for sure that "everything big once started small" this was the sentence that pushed me to my bank yesterday.

In the morning around 9:30am I paid my way to the bank and filled out a savings deposit slip when I wanted to input the amount I needed to deposit I then realized I actually spent ₦100 as transportation out of the ₦500 I wanted to save. So I write there ₦400 after that I heard my sense talking to me saying,
"sir, after saving all the money you have here are you going to jog back home? ok your legs pretty very long perhaps you can be a fast runner from the bank back to your house?😒 Remember you paid someone to drive you to this place!".

I quietly walked up to the bank assistants to make some inquiries and my words were, "ma'am, I want to save money"😒 she asked me how much I was going to save and I said ₦300. She advised me to go and make a saving box at home so I can be saving my little change there.

It was a really brilliant idea and I never thought about it earlier so I paid my way back home and I was left with ₦300 I bought plain woods for ₦200 and some nails for ₦80 then I made my saving box and now I am saving ₦30 out of ₦500 💔.

When I picked up my phone to surf the net, that was when I remembered that there is a platform I can actually save any amount of money no matter how small it is and even get up to 20% annual interest of my savings. Hive savings may not be a good saving for Some of us but, it is the BEST saving idea and platform.

If only I could think far from the very beginning. I wouldn't have made such an expense to save my money while I could do it from the comfort of my home with just a few clicks on the phone. But it is never too late for me to start afresh!.
