Scrolling through the movie lists a person tends to notice very quickly that there really is 10 cheap horrors for any one other genre.

I would estimate the next in line is probably pointless drama's but there really aren't all that many straight up fight movies.

Which can have some of the best payoffs in sense of entertainment. I guess the difference is that for Drama and Horror you really don't need much of any acting or even cast.

That is probably why most shows are also reality or some trash political drama in the series category.

I think a lot of it is needed to train people to feel their lives reflect those things, especially the trash home or political dramas. People take on those personas and then think the supposed complexity of the shows convoluted plot lines are the same as their pathetic little lives.

It is quite baffling why such shows , especially the more convoluted vindictive plots are so popular when they deliver nothing in way of entertainment at all.

The novelty of things like House of Cards, Game of Thrones or suits should wear off within no more than a season. And that would only be a season if the viewer is the most patient person and a sucker for punishment.

Else my bet is that they in fact have the same persona and revel in the pointless drama of their world. They say things like and then "my cousin said" , or "did you hear about..."

Next they move on to thinking conflicts in the world run the same and try to say that cultural personas should be tolerated.

All in all most movies and shows that get made merely enforce broken minds rather than inspire connection.
