A building at the foundation Stage

Today being Friday and I had very little to do at the office I decided to pay a friend a visit at his site. He is a building Engineer. My major purpose of going there is to ease the pressure from the weeks activities. It has been a very stressful week for me and after clearing my desk today earlier than expected, I put a call through to him if I could come around and he accepted. We strolled round and I could only take a few picture as the purpose was not for the pictures but to have a relief. Few of things I learnt is:

Rome was not built in a day: To have a building erect is not a complete day job. It is a gradual process. From foundation to a full building takes a whole lots of work and a combination of several experts. When building starts it first does not make any sense or look good. One important thing is the vision of the outcome. the vision is what keeps it going.

A joint effort of all workers is needed

Foundation is very important. The foundation of things is very key. When a building is constructed, what determines the strength of the structure is the foundation. Once the foundation is very strong, it is in a very rare case that the building will collapse. In essence importance is attached to the foundation. The book of Psalm 11:3 When the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do. This part speaks on a foundation that is not strong nothing anyone can do about it.
