Share your Battle - How too play Cpt Katie (ENG/GER)

today I'm going to introduce you to one of my favorite tactics for winning with Cpt Katie. I'm very curious to hear what you think about this tactic and hope you enjoy reading it!

Amplify and Magic Reflect

I prefer to play Cpt Katie in a setup of 23 to 28 mana. This is where I think you have the best chance of hitting weaker monsters in the back rows with her Snipe ability.

I always go for cards with Magic Reflect and Martyr in this setup to properly weaken the opponent's monsters and give Katie a bigger push before she slips to position one.

She's also protected by Magic Reflect in case the opponent also uses Snipe.

I only use Amplify as a supplement to deal more damage in the mana range around 28. Here, however, it can also happen that the opponent's monsters kill themselves and Katie doesn't get a kill and thus Bloodlust. I also always try to place two cards behind Katie so that opponents can't reach her with the Sneak ability and so that she is well protected from both sides.

Battle!

I no longer play this tactic in the area above 30 mana. There are often monsters in the back rows, which are only defeated by the Snipe ability after many rounds. This makes it very difficult for Katie to get into the game and you lose too often.

Am liebsten spiele ich Cpt Katie in einem Setup von 23 bis 28 Mana. Hier sind aus meiner Sicht die Chancen am größten, dass Ihr mit ihrer Snipe Fähigkeit schwächere Monster in den hinteren Reihen trefft.

Ich setze bei diesem Setup immer auf Karten mit Magic Reflect und Martyr, um die gegnerischen Monster ordentlich zu schwächen und Katie einen größeren Push zu geben, bevor sie auf Position eins rutscht.

Außerdem ist sie durch Magic Reflect geschützt, falls der Gegner ebenfalls Snipe einsetzen sollte.

Amplify nutze ich nur als Ergänzung, um im Manabereich um die 28 mehr Schaden zu verursachen. Hier kann es allerdings auch passieren, dass die gegnerischen Monster sich selbst töten und Katie dadurch keinen Kill und somit Bloodlust erhält. Außerdem versuche ich immer zwei Karten hinter Katie zu platzieren, damit Gegner sie nicht mit der Sneak Fähigkeit erreichen und sie damit von beiden Seiten gut geschützt ist.

Im Bereich über 30 Mana spiele ich diese Taktik nicht mehr. Hier sind oft Monster in den hinteren Reihen, welche erst nach vielen Runden durch die Snipe Fähigkeit besiegt werden. Dadurch hat es Katie sehr schwer ins Spiel zu kommen und man verliert zu oft.
