The Power Of Choosing A Word Mindset Over A World Mindset

Transformation always begins as a change of thoughts.

For thoughts to change in its intensity and the structure, thoughts must change. What we call Repentance is to change how you think, and to change how you think, you must choose to accept thought from a higher source. The Holy book says in Romans 12:2 "... be not conformed to this world but to be transformed by the renewing of your mind."

This implies that we must allow our thoughts to be influenced and structured by a word mindset and not by a worldly mindset. To be like God is to think like God (Isaiah 55:7-9).

So, God is a deep thinker. Deep thinking is the only way to be familiar with the powerhouse of our life which is our mind.

The Spirit of God is complete and perfect, but the mind of the individual with God needs renewal, and deep thinking, or meditation, so as to gain control of the mind, make it subject to you, and re-program it according to the word. Deep thinkers are world rulers. When Joshua took over command from Moses to lead Israel into the Promised Land, one of the defining instructions that God gave to him to ensure victory was to meditate on His word (Joshua 1:8).

You will never be able to control your life or any situation you are faced with until you learn to control your thoughts. If you lose it in your thoughts, you will lose it in life. When somebody loses his mind, that person becomes worthless as an individual to himself, his family, and his generation.

Becoming familiar with our thought structure and pattern is only possible through deep thinking. And deep thinking is actualized through meditation.

Meditation is simply focusing on anything and allowing your mind and your thoughts to build patterns and structures around it to the point where you are familiar with every angle of it and be inspired to see it the way God sees it.

May we profit in every way from the gift of deep thoughts with great rewards produced in every area of our life.

Hence, declare that your mind is not a liability but an asset that gives you the advantage in the affairs of life, today and every other day.
