Cool Battle - I didn't know what to do, but it worked! [PT/EN]

Tem batalhas que não dá pra acreditar nas condições impostas, é impressionante a criatividade que precisamos usar pra superar as barreiras que são impostas pela varável da batalha. Se você não ficar atento, ou vacilar em algum detalhe, vai perder!

A poucos minutos eu fiz uma batalha que mal acreditei no que estava acontecendo. Eu escalei meu time e apenas orei para que meu adversário também estivesse com tanta dificuldade quanto eu, sério, vocês vão ficar impressionados com as condições, foi puro improviso!

Quando dei start na batalha, apenas fechei os os olhos e seja o que Deus quiser, a minha parte eu tentei ( não estva nem um pouco confiante de que iria dar certo!).

Bem, vamos ver como foi isso...

O começo da temporada é sempre muito difícil, talvez seja que os jogadores melhores ranqueados na temporada passada esteja nivelado com o resto de nós, pobres mortais. Essa foi uma batalha na Liga Gold II, no formato Wild.

O que voc~e precisa notar de imediato, são as regras de batalha. Os monstros iriam reviver uma vez, summoners não teriam utilidade e a regra que mais iria influenciar nessa batalha: Going the Distance. Tudo bem que todas as regras iriam de alguma forma mudar a dinâmica da partida, mas Going the Distance deixa as coisa muito limitado por conta da escolha de um tank. Monstros ranged não atacam da prmeira posição, a menos que tenha a habilidade Close ranged, então essa foi uma dificuldade muito grande, levando em consideração que nessa partida APENAS 14 DE MANA ESTAVAM DISPONÍVEIS!

Eu pensei em várias possibilidades e eu precisava de um tank, essa era a posição mais importante nessa partida. Dentro das minhas opções nos elementos disponíveis, nenhum se encaixava muito bem e foi um pequeno desespero ver o tempo passar e eu não ter encontrado alguma solução.

Até que tive um lampejo de ideia, mas sem muita convicção de que iria dar certo e escalei o WATER ELEMENTAL como meu principal ponto de defesa conto o oponente.

Apesar desse monstro possuir um bom ataque, eu apostei em sua capacidade de esquivar de ataque e na regeneração de vida a cada rodada. Isso poderia me dar algum tempo para derrotar o oponente? Não sei, foi uma aposta.

Eu ainda estava inseguro se ele conseguiria encrara atques e permanecer vivo, pois se esse monstro fosse morto, tudo estaria perdido mesmo. Então, adicionei mais uma camada de proteção e mais cura para esse monstro com a adição de CRUSTACEAN KING.

Esse monstro iria adicionar escudos, mas também iria ajudar na cura de WATER ELEMENTAL.

Por fim adicionei Venari Marksrat, imaginando algum ataque Snipe contra meu time e ele poderia potencializar meu dois monstros principais, mas não foi uma escolha boa. No lugar dele, eu deveria ter escolhido um monstro que tivesse mais poder de fogo, as coisas teriam sido melhores.

Mas tudo bem, era a hora de ver se essa estratégia deu certo dentro de tantas limitações.

Realmente deu certo a minha escolha e eu venci a batalha, mas isso não inibi a minha insegurança. Eu ainda errei em algumas opções, como mencionado acima, mas ter escolhido um bom tank foi a peça fundamental para essa vitória, juntamente com o suporte adequado.

Por fim, mesmo com medo, a batalha foi importante como lição e talvez na próxima eu tente algo ainda melhor!

A few minutes ago I fought so hard that I couldn't believe what was happening. I chose my team and just prayed that my opponent was also having as much difficulty as me, seriously, you will be impressed with the conditions, it was pure improvisation!

When I started the battle, I just closed my eyes and whatever God wants, I tried my part (I wasn't at all confident that it would work!).

Well, let's see how that went...

The start of the season is always very difficult, perhaps it's just that the top ranked players from last season are on par with the rest of us poor mortals. This was a battle in the Gold II League, in the Wild format.

What you need to notice right away are the battle rules. The monsters would revive once, summoners would be useless and the rule that would most influence this battle: Going the Distance. It's true that all the rules would somehow change the dynamics of the match, but Going the Distance leaves things very limited due to the choice of a tank. Ranged monsters do not attack from the first position, unless they have the Close ranged ability, so this was a very difficult difficulty, taking into account that in this match ONLY 14 MANA WERE AVAILABLE!

I thought of several possibilities and I needed a tank, that was the most important position in this match. Among my options in the available elements, none of them fit very well and it was a bit of despair to see time pass and I hadn't found a solution.

Until I had a flash of an idea, but without much conviction that it would work, I chose WATER ELEMENTAL as my main point of defense against my opponent.

Although this monster has a good attack, I bet on its ability to dodge attacks and life regeneration every round. Could this give me some time to defeat the opponent? I don't know, it was a bet.

I was still unsure if he would be able to withstand the attacks and stay alive, because if this monster was killed, everything would be lost. So I added another layer of protection and more healing to this monster with the addition of CRUSTACEAN KING.

This monster would add shields, but it would also help heal WATER ELEMENTAL.

Finally I added Venari Marksrat, imagining a Snipe attack against my team and it could boost my two main monsters, but it wasn't a good choice. In his place, I should have chosen a monster that had more firepower, things would have been better.

But that's ok, it was time to see if this strategy worked within so many limitations.

My choice really worked out and I won the battle, but that didn't inhibit my insecurity. I still made mistakes with some options, as mentioned above, but choosing a good tank was the fundamental piece for this victory, along with adequate support.

Finally, even though I was scared, the battle was important as a lesson and maybe next time I'll try something even better!
