Today I'm here to tell you a little more about the event that took place between June 2nd and 4th this year, NFTBrasil. It was an event where various projects were presented over three days, divided into three stages. I had the opportunity to go up to the pitch stage and talk about Hive for 15 minutes and that's what I'm going to talk about today!

The event

The event took place in the city of São Paulo, at the Bienal pavilion in Ibirapuera Park. One of São Paulo's tourist attractions. The pavilion was divided into 2 sides.

On one side were the exhibitions, with screens showing NFTs, the first car bought in Bitcoin in Brazil, among other items related to the crypto world, an immersive room where all the walls and ceilings were a single piece of art, giving you the feeling of being inside the art, as well as virtual reality glasses that took you into the metaverse.

On the other side were three stages where lectures took place during the days of the event. The main stage was called the "NFTBrasil Stage", the "Degen Stage" and the "Pitch Stage".

The main stage featured guest speakers on topics relevant to the NFT world, the crypto world, successful projects and legislation. On the degen stage, strategies and practices for expanding the crypto market were discussed, small projects with a great future were shown, among other things.

The pitch stage was the stage where there was an experiment showing everyone how a DAO works and the speakers who would take the stage were chosen by the people in the experiment. And that was my chance to take the stage to talk about Hive!

Talking about Hive

We got a slot on the pitch stage on the second day of the event, right at the opening. The audience wasn't that full, but it was very useful and those who were there were very interested. It was my first big crypto event and I was impressed by the number of people who knew so much about crypto but had never heard of Hive.

Edu (@vempromundo) and I took to the stage to explain what Hive is and how it works, we talked about the social aspect of Hive, we talked about HiveBR and our journey there, the possibility of microblogging and microearning, which at that time was something new for Hive due to the recently created threads. We answered a lot of questions from those who didn't know about Hive and we had the illustrious presence of @xvlad at the end of the presentation.

After Hive's short 15-minute presentation, I spent a good part of the afternoon onboarding and talking to people about Hive. I also did an interview with CastaCrypto, a great Brazilian influencer in the crypto world, which you can see here.

Onboarding

After lunch I set up a place with my laptop to organize the photos, interviews and so on. And that's when a few people started arriving wanting to know more about Hive, some of whom made an account right there with me. Others just got in touch for later.

I was already doing onboarding work even before the event, but being there gave me contacts with many people who helped me in this regard, since there were many influential people in the crypto world who were willing to help show a bit about Hive.

It was a very productive event that changed the way I see the web3 world and opened many doors for me.

The Exhibition

The exhibition changed every day with digital art (digital art displayed physically like paintings), I didn't record every day, but I did make some records as you can see below.

Conclusion

It was an excellent and huge event that really made me want to participate in future events and that's what I've been doing. I hope that next time I'll be able to take to the stage again and have more time to talk about Hive and the projects it's involved with!

Olá pessoal! Hoje vim trazer um pouco mais do evento que aconteceu entre o dia 02 e 04 de Junho desse ano, o NFTBrasil. Evento onde varios projetos foram apresentados por 3 dias sendo divididos nos 3 palcos dos eventos. Eu tive a oportunidade de subir no palco pitch e por 15minutos falar sobre a Hive e é sobre isso que falarei hoje!

Então vamos ao que interessa...

O evento

O evento aconteceu na cidade de São Paulo, no pavilhão da Bienal que fica no parque Ibirapuera. Um dos pontos turísticos da cidade de São Paulo. O pavilhão foi dividido em 2 lados.

De um estavam as exposições tendo telas com NFTs sendo exibidas, o primeiro carro comprado em Bitcoin no Brasil, entre outros itens expostos relacionados ao mundo cripto, uma sala imersiva onde todas as paredes e tetos eram uma unica arte dando a sensação de estar dentro da arte, além de oculos de realidade virtual que te levavam ao metaverso.

De outro lado ficavam 3 palcos onde ocorreram palestras durante os dias de eventos. O palco principal chamado "Palco NFTBrasil, o "Palco Degen" e o "Palco Pitch".

No palco principal foram chamados palestrantes convidados para falar sobreassuntos relevantes ao mundo das NFTs, mundo cripto, projetos de sucessos e legislação. No palco degen foi discutido estratégias e praticas para ampliação do mercado cripto, pequenos projetos com grande futuro foram mostrados entre outras coisas.

O palco pitch foi o palco onde teve uma experiencia mostrando a todos como funciona uma DAO e foram escolhidos os palestrantes que iriam subir ao palco pelas pessoas do experimento. E essa foi minha oportunidade de subir ao palco para falar da Hive!

Falando sobre a Hive

Conseguimos um horário no palco pitch no segundo dia de evento logo na abertura do evento. A plateia não estava tão cheia mas foi bem proveitoso e os que estavam lá ficaram bastante interessado. Foi meu primeiro grande evento cripto e fiquei impressionado com a quantidade de gente que conhece tanto de cripto mas nunca tinha ouvido falar da Hive.

Subimos ao palco eu e o Edu(@vempromundo) explicamos o que é a Hive e como ela funciona, falamos sobre o aspecto social da Hive, falamos sobre a HiveBR e nossa jornada lá, da possibilidade de microbloging e microearning que naquela época era algo novo na Hive pela até então recém-criada threads. Tiramos muitas duvidas daqueles que não conheciam a Hive e tivemos a presença ilustre no final da apresentação do @xvlad.

Após os curtos 15minutos de apresentação da Hive passei boa parte da tarde fazendo onboarding e conversando com as pessoas sobre a Hive,fiz também uma entrevista com o CastaCrypto um grande influenciador brasileiro no mundo cripto que vocês podem ver aqui.

Onboarding

Após o almoço arrumei um lugar com meu notebook pra organizar as fotos, entrevistas e etc. E foi ai que começaram a chegar algumas pessoas querendo saber mais sobre a Hive, alguns fizeram a conta ali mesmo comigo. Outros apenas pegaram contato pra depois.

Eu já fazia um trabalho de onboarding antes mesmo do evento, mas estar lá me fez ter contatos com muitas pessoas que me ajudaram nesse quesito já que tinha muitas pessoas influentes no mundo cripto que se dispuseram a ajudar a mostrar um pouco da Hive.

Foi um evento muito produtivo que mudou muito minha forma de ver o mundo web3 e me abriu muitas portas.

A Exposição

A exposição mudava todos os dias com artes figitais(arte digital exposta fisicamente como quadros), eu não registrei todos os dias, mas fiz alguns registros como podem ver abaixo.

Conclusão

Foi um evento excelente e gigante que realmente me fez querer participar de próximos eventos e é o que tenho feito. Espero no próximo poder subir novamente ao palco e ter mais tempo pra poder falar sobre a Hive e os projetos nela!
