Einleitung
Da ich gestern bis um 1 Uhr den Blog mit allen Bilder geschrieben habe, werde ich mich nun kürzer halten und nur ein Bild des Coaches mit einer kurzen Zusammenfassung und dem Ergebnis posten.
Wenn ich es schaffe, mache ich noch einen ausführlichen Bericht zu den Highlights des Worldcups.
Introduction
Since I wrote the blog with all the pictures yesterday until 1 o'clock, I will keep it shorter now and just post a picture of the coach with a short summary and the result.
If I make it, I'll do another detailed report on the highlights of the World Cup.
Spiel 1
Gegen Steamroller aus Berlin mit Nekromanten.
Ich erwarte auf beiden Seiten viele Verletzungen und KOs, da beide Teams recht Bashy sind.
Tatsächlich ist das aber nicht der Fall. Das ganze Spiel über gibt es keine einzige Verletzung und auch die KOs kommen erst in der zweiten Halbzeit.
Unter anderem liegt das daran, dass bei mir wenig zusammenläuft. In beiden Hälften sind meine 3 Rerolls nach 3 Runden weg.
Mein Gegner wirft eine Doppel 1, die zu meinem 1:0 führt. Danach geht bei ihm nichts mehr schief.
Beim Stand von 1:2 habe ich noch 5 Züge Zeit und breche mit drei Ghoulen durch.
Er schafft es aber mit einigem Würfelglück mich zuzustellen.
Mein Befreiungsschlag schlägt fehl, und das Spiel endet 1:2 bei 0:0 CAS.
Zumindest Sharky und das Team haben gewonnen.
Game 1
Against Steamroller from Berlin with Necromancers.
I expect a lot of injuries and KOs on both sides, as both teams are quite bashy.
But in fact this is not the case. The whole game there is not a single injury and also the KOs come only in the second half.
Among other things, that's because very little is going right for me. In both halves, my 3 rerolls are gone after 3 rounds.
My opponent throws a double 1, which leads to my 1:0. After that, nothing goes wrong for him.
At 1:2, I have 5 moves left and break through with three ghouls.
But he manages to block me with some dice luck.
My breakout fails and the game ends 1:2 with 0:0 CAS.
At least Sharky and the team won.
Spiel 2
Gegen Valean aus Italien mit Untoten.
Ein Mirror Match. Hier kann ich sicher lernen, wie man die Untoten richtig spielt.
Sagen wir es so. Wenn der erste Blitz des Gegners eine Mumie verletzt, fängt das Spiel nicht gut an.
Trotz weiterer Verluste konnte ich mich auf dem rechten Flügel vorarbeiten.
Dabei habe ich erstmals auch das Springen über liegende Gegner benutzt.
Gebracht hat es mir leider nicht viel. Mein Ghoul wurde gestoppt. Der Dodge um sich anschließend freizublitzen scheiterte leider an einer 4+ mit Reroll.
Mein Gegner sichert den Ball und übergibt ihn an einen Ghoul in meiner Hälfte. Ich versuche zu blitzen, stürze aber beim GFI.
Turn 8 0:1 bei 0:2 CAS.
In der zweiten Halbzeit bekommt mein Gegner dem Ball. Ich revangiere mich für die verletzte Mumie und nehme seine ebenfalls für diesen Drive aus dem Spiel.
Leider konzentriere ich meine Verteidigung zu sehr auf das Zentrum und er kann rechts einen Halbkäfig an der Seitenlinie bilden.
Ich kann den Käfig aufbrechen. Er schafft es aber dennoch auszuweichen und mit zwei Extrafeldern einzulaufen.
Zug 12 0:2.
Jetzt geht es nur noch um Schadensbegrenzung.
Ich empfange den Ball und kann ihn einigermaßen sichern. Ich erhalte die Möglichkeit auf der linken Seite durchzukommen.
Der Blitz gegen mich scheitert an einer Doppel 1 beim GFI. Das war der einzige Wurf, den mein Gegner vermasselt hat. Ich dagegen hatte wieder diverse Turnover.
In Zug 16 laufe ich zum 1:2 Endstand bei 2:3 CAS ein.
Eine desaströse Runde fürs Team. Sharky holt das einzige unentschieden. Alle anderen verlieren.
Game 2
Against Valean from Italy with Undead.
Mirror Match. I can certainly learn how to play the undead properly here.
Put it this way. When the opponent's first blitz hurts a mummy, the game doesn't start well.
Despite further losses, I was able to advance on the right wing.
For the first time I also used jumping over lying enemies.
Unfortunately, it didn't do me much good. My Ghoul was stopped. The dodge to afterwards blitz free failed because of a 4+ with reroll.
My opponent secures the ball and passes it to a Ghoul in my half. I try to blitz, but fall on the GFI.
Turn 8 0:1 with 0:2 CAS.
In the second half, my opponent gets the ball. I return the favor to the injured mummy and take his out of play for this drive as well.
Unfortunately, I focus my defense too much on the center and he is able to form a half cage on the right sideline.
I am able to break the cage. But he still manages to dodge and run in with two extra squares.
Move 12 0:2.
Now, it is only a matter of damage limitation.
I receive the ball and can secure it to some extent. I get the chance to pass through on the left side.
The blitz against me fails because of a double 1 at the GFI. This was the only roll my opponent missed. I, on the other hand, had several turnovers again.
On turn 16, I run in for the final score of 1:2 at 2:3 CAS.
A disastrous round for the team. Sharky gets the only draw. All the others lose.
Spiel 3
Gegen Montaraz6 aus Spanien mit Skaven
Ich gewinne den Münzwurf und entscheide mich zuerst zu verteidigen.
Mein Gegner hat ein eher ungwöhnliches Setup ohne Rattenoger mit 14 Spielern und 3 mal Strip Ball auf den Gutter Runnern gewählt.
Er sichert den Ball in Zug 1. Ich blocke und blitze seine Spieler und nach 2 Zügen sind 2 seiner Spieler verletzt und 3 in der KO Box.
Ab da spielt es sich recht einfach. Das was vorher mir passiert ist, passiert jetzt meinen Gegnern.
Mein Gegner würfelt ok, aber mir gelingt einfach alles.
Ich blitze seunen Ballträger und nehme danach selbst den Ball auf.
Um sicherzustellen, dass er keinen One Turner macht, stalle ich bis Zug 8 und laufe dann zum 1:0 ein.
In Halbzeit 2 erhalte ich denn Ball. Ich spiele gegen 10 Skaven.
Mein Sure Hands Ghoul nimmt den Ball nicht auf. Mein Gegner nutzt das aber nicht zum Druck machen.
In Turn 2 klappt alles und ich bewege mich in den sicheren Cage.
Danach zerlege ich Stück für Stück sein Team und bewege mich langsam Richtung Endzone. In Zug 16 laufe ich zum 2:0 ein. Ich mache 4 und mein Gegner 1 CAS.
Als Team spielen wir unentschieden. Damit haben wir 12 Siege, 8 Unentschieden und 16 Niederlagen.
Game 3
Against Montaraz6 from Spain with Skaven
I win the coin toss and decide to defend first.
My opponent has chosen a rather unusual setup without Ratoger with 14 players and 3 times Strip Ball on the Gutter Runners.
He secures the ball in move 1. I block and blitz his players and after 2 turns 2 of his players are injured and 3 in the KO box.
From then on it plays pretty easy. What happened to me before, happens to my opponents now.
My opponent rolls ok, but I succeed in everything.
I blitz his ball carrier and then pick up the ball myself.
To make sure he doesn't make a One Turner, I stall until turn 8 and then run in for 1:0.
In half time 2 I get the ball. I play against 10 Skaven.
My Sure Hands Ghoul does not pick up the ball. My opponent doesn't use this to put pressure on me.
In turn 2 everything works out and I move into the safe cage.
After that, I dismantle his team piece by piece and slowly move towards the end zone. In turn 16, I run in for 2:0. I make 4 CAS and my opponent 1.
As a team, we play to a draw. So we have 12 wins, 8 draws and 16 losses.
El Buen Comer
Heute Abend haben wir es geschafft, essen zu gehen. Auf Empfehlung entscheiden wir uns für das El Buen Comer.
Wir haben vorgestern ein paar gute Tapas gegessen, aber das hier ist eine ganzt andere Liga. Der Ziegenkäse ist ein Gedicht. Die Paela, die Hackbällchen und die Calamaris einfach göttlich.
Ich habe selten so gut gegessen.
Wenn ihr mal nach Alicante kommt, müsst ihr dort essen gehen!
El Buen Comer
Tonight we managed to go out for dinner. On recommendation we decide to go to El Buen Comer.
We had some good tapas the day before yesterday, but this is in a whole different league. The goat cheese is to die for. The paela, meatballs and calamari just divine.
I have rarely eaten so well.
If you ever come to Alicante, you have to eat there!
Morgen letzter Tag
Morgen haben wir unsere letzten 6 Spiele. Deswegen geht es jetzt auch in die Heia.
Reißen werde ich dieses Turnier nichts mehr. Ich möchte es aber morgen gut abschließen und zumindest ein ausgeglichenes Spiel erreichen. Dazu muss ich mindestens 2 Spiele gewinnen.
Morgen Abend schauen wir gemeinsam NFL und essen leckere Steaks dazu und am Montag geht es zurück in die Heimat.

Tomorrow last day
Tomorrow we have our last 6 games. That's why it's time to go to bed.
I won't do anything more in this tournament. But I want to finish it well tomorrow and at least reach a balanced game. For that I have to win at least 2 games.
Tomorrow night we will watch NFL together and eat delicious steaks and on Monday we will go back home.
